FREE WOMEN’S CPL CLASS – August 4th

Doubtless, you’ve seen the news since the beginning of spring up until recent days and weeks about the heinous violence against women in Detroit and the surrounding communities. Although law enforcement has arrested a person of interest due in part to the efforts of local community groups, there is still a tangible fear among women and their families in the city and surrounding communities. As a gun club who invested in the community, we believe that women should be empowered to protect themselves and their loved ones from predators.
As a response to this string of murders and assaults, the Black Bottom Gun Club will hold a free Concealed Pistol License course, on August 4th 2019. Typically, these courses range from $80 to $150 per student, and the application and fingerprinting fee is an additional $115 in Michigan – all before purchasing a firearm. The class will be held at the Wayne County Racoon Hunters Club.
Additionally, our club was gifted THREE handguns to raffle off after the completion of the class. The women who participate will have the opportunity to win one of three Canik TP9SF Elite handguns! These were donated by Century Arms, the American distributor for Canik, with the approval from Canik USA. This means that on Day 1, or Day 2, three of the women will be able to defend themselves and their loved ones.
